About Our Company

In 1960, Jack and Beth purchased a small septic tank pumping business that averaged only five to seven calls per week. To supplement this, Jack would run his farm, and do any, and all other jobs necessary to keep this new business venture afloat.

In 1965, Jack learned that there was a much easier technique to opening lines than pushing a flat snake and barbed wire through them.

This new technique was called Roto-Rooter Sewer & Drain Cleaning. In a short time, Jack and Beth learned the value, and appreciated the ease of operation of this new "patented" equipment. They acquired franchises serving our original service areas, which includes Sullivan County, New York; Wayne & Pike County, Pennsylvania.

Jack and Beth took another major step when they incorporated their business in 1983. In 1986, their son, Ned Lang, purchased the four existing franchises and moved the business to it's current location. As a business progressed, and additional franchises were added.

Through our years of dedicated service to our satisfied customers, we have grown to be the largest and most complete Plumbing & Septic Service in the  area.
